// existing cremation laws did not prohibit the burning of human remains on a wooden pyre open to natural air and sunlight. To comply with the Cremation Act 1902, the judges said that the ceremonies would merely need to take place within a building, which, to meet Hindu spiritual requirements, could be a roof supported by pillars or a walled structure with no roof. //

Wonder it be a little insensitive to take your own fireworks?

i think you are being insensitive towards sikh and muslim people and you know who you are, they have traditions just like the english have, so try and respect that and not say horrible things 'What are the residents of Newcastle likly to smell' and muslims and goats, its disrespectful.......english cremate and hindus dont make comment about the smell, yes i know coz it doesnt smell coz its in a building, but its respectful for hindus to cremate in open areas lighting the fire themselves............the only issue is its a health and safety problem so stop being so stereotypical and shallow and if you dont have anything sensible to say about other religions then dont say it!!!!! quite frankly i am sick to death of seeing comments about muslims etc on answerbank
suzie1,
I am not being insensitive towards Sikh and Muslim people but, if they want to follow their religious ways they should do it in their own Country not ours.
Try and find a Church of England or a Catholic Church in a Middle East Country, not many I assure you, but there are plenty of Mosques and Sikh temples in the UK.

trt, if you want a church in a middle east country you have to aim to get one, just like the hindus and muslims have here. there are temple and mosques here, because sikhs and muslims have asked for them and they worked hard to get them.....they raise money from other hindus and muslims to create these lovely buildings, because they live in this country and have contributed to this countryi .e payed taxes, and should not be forced to go back to their own country to do their religious things, they, just like you and i , contribute to the united kingdom and many of them better than us!!! i can tell you that if you did want a church in pakistan and you were determined, i dont think you would be rejected the same goes for india, some indian people go to the church,
