Is there a "disrespectful pedjudice" against SA's world cup or is their valid concern about the arrangements? Do you think SA got the tournament on merit or because it was just "time" an African nation hosted it?
Some people seem to want the World Cup in South Africa to be a failure for whatever reasons I don't know. They got in on merit on the basis that an African venue was overdue, and SA have demonstrated with the Rugby and Cricket World Cups that they are able to stage big sporting tournaments.
Talk of SA being wrong because of what happened in Angola, is like saying London should not stage the Olympics because of the Madrid train bombings.
FIFA makes sure football grows as a sport all over the world.
Asia and Africa have plenty of FIFA votes to keep Blatter and his cronies in power, so by giving the World Cup to Japan/Korea and South Africa he is making sure he stays in power for a long time.
But to be fair, South America and Europe had the World Cup "sown up" for decades so it is only fair to spread it around a bit.
