Was this the right decision, should all books based on conspiracy theories also be banned?

After all they could also be accused of writing lies, it is all dependant what point of view is taken.

well as the policenman he didn't charge them, so i guess it would not go to trial and his 'account' is meaningless.

How can you say that his account is "meaningless" when we haven't seen it? Clearly Police officials have seen it and believe that there is not enough evidence for a conviction.......but that doesn't make it "meaningless"

all it can serve to do is cause hurt and harm to the mccanns and those close to madeliene. if he really believed what he says in his book, then he should have done something about it while he could. not try to make some money on it afterwards.

Extremely unlikely maybe, but not impossible. If you follow the news, doctors have been known to accidentally administer overdoses quite often.

On one hand we have people saying that the police officer has no evidence to base his claims on, and on the other hand we have people who say that Maddy was abducted, but they have no evidence of this either!

I think the book was quite rightly banned, there is no evidence as to what happened to that little girl! The only thing we know for sure is that she is the only victim in this story!
