When I first spotted the headline, "Blackburn Resistance" I thought the story might be about some kind of resistance from the whites of Blackburn.

But no it is yet another example of the "Enemy Within", the situation seems to be getting worse, but I suppose we will get the old assurances from some, not to show concern and that these are only a very small minority of radical Muslims that are amongst us.

Even though I think that the automatic weapon one is holding is an imitation weapon, due to the red tip on the end of the barrel, their other weapons look pretty dangerous.

But why your hang-up about colour? If the "Enemy Within" happened to be White, Pink Or Purple, they would still be a concern.

But the "Enemy Within" are groups of Muslims that are prepared to kill themselves and others, in their continued attempt to turn this country into an Islamic State.

Agree - as with the topic of your question, you do indeed get individual nutters.

Most Muslims I know (and the only ones I know are the ones who own the local restaurant) are not mentally disturbed or trying to turn this country into an Islamic state.

Just as not every drunk you see is creating a bomb, not every Scot is poisoning drinks and not every Muslim wants an Islamic state.

No, one can ever say every Muslim, but I think it would be safe to say that the vast majority of Muslims would only be too keen to turn this country into a Islamic State.

find me one national opinion poll (taken by a 'proper' company as opposed to the BNP!) that suggests that over 51% over Muslims in this country want an Islamic State. Trust me, you won't find one because it is not true.

If there is any person on AB with more hangups about colour, race and creed than AOG, I haven't managed to spot them yet.

If they could conduct a poll, do you really think that they would say, "that they do"?

Just as I can't say for certain that they want a Islamic State, how can you possibly say they don't?

But judging by past happenings and by the way they do not integrate into British society, I think that it is very likely.

Well for a start, a lot of polls are anonymous - why wouldn't you say what you feel?

I repeat the question - how many Muslims do you know?

Is all your knowledge of Muslims taken from the media?

If all your knowledge of British culture was taken from the newspapers, would you think that all British people were criminals or had big breasts?

Current Daily Mail front page has stories about a Doctor misdiagnosing cancer; a Teacher killing herself after a naked picture was posted on facebook; Cameron taunting Brown over Darling etc

Not one good news story in there at all.

No mention of people being happy and talking to each other civilly.

Can you see why you think that Muslims are bad? Could it possibly be your knowledge?

dh001 - very much depends on what you mean by Islamic State. Some Muslims want Sharia Law recognised to cover civil law (in the same way that Jews have the Beth Din) - this is not the same as wanting Sharia Law to cover criminal matters. Some Muslims want full Sharia Law. Some Muslims want it to remain as it is. The majority of Muslims, just want to get on with their life as do most indigenous British people.

There are plenty of opinion polls about the views of Muslims (conducted by MORI / IPSUS, ICM etc) that can give you clues (and by the way, make sure you read the actual poll data, not the 'interpretation' by the media).

As I said, I don't believe that you will find a single poll taken that says that over 50% of Muslims want an Islamic State.
