yes, I wouldn't object if London addresses were provided for MPs rather than them finding their own in nice green suburbs and charging them to us. (Though I'm not saying they should be forced to live in slums either.) Someone suggested handing over the Olympic Village to them after 2012 - just down the Jubilee Line from Westminster. But having a London home isn't a perk, it's a necessity. They need to be in their constituency; they need to be in London. Both are legitimate parts of their job. Which one is the main address is up to them, but it should be a one-off decision, no flipping.
