Whilst looking at my profile (as a member accused me of having more than one username), I looked at my very first post - and I can't believe that I will have been a member for 6 years in June!
I am asking the people who frequent news (as this is the predominate area that I post in), how long have you been a member?

As my learned friend Quizmonster (Good evening sir!) confirms, I am the oldest AB'er in terms of service.
I was in fact here before the Site went 'live' - recruited as a Writer and Moderator (we were called Channel Producers) and when our features were made redundent, i stayed around. Barring illness and holidays, i have visited almost every day from then until now.
I started in October 2000, and I plan to be the last one here to turn the light out!

Actually OEV, I think AOG was suggesting you and Gromit were the same person, rather than you and me.
Not that it makes any difference, like.
For what it's worth, I don't care if someone posts under one name or 50 names. What difference does it make? I get into debates depending on what's been said rather than who's saying it. And if someone uses multiple 'character's to agree with themselves, it doesn't make their points any easier or harder to debate.
