Indians-only job advert

/// The wording was condemned by Conservative MP David Davies.He said: 'It is quite clearly racist. I call on the EHRC to show resolute action in dealing with cases of anti-British discrimination.'///
Since the advert said :
/// "The person should be a UK citizen with security clearance from the UK Government. Preferably of Indian origin." ///
Therefore, surely this was not "anti-British discrimination", but "anti-white British" discrimination, or couldn't Davis Davis find the courage to say this?
But the best part of this report, was one of the excuses made :
/// Some companies prefer to employ people of Indian origin because they are immediately available and don't mind moving. Often people in Britain . . . have mortgages and don't want to move.///

/// Yet another (oldgit) non-story........///
Easy to say from one whos sole purpose on this site is to make cheap criticisms of others postings.
Rich also, coming from one who never enters a story non or otherwise, if it was left to the likes of you this site would be a no, no, no news site.

it's hardly anti-white-British discrimination, since they didn't seem to want black people either. It's simply pro-Indian; but it said preferably, not definitely (in other words you wouldn't necessarily be refused the job if you weren't Indian). This seems to be only on the fringes of being racist (for instance, could they have said Hindi-speaking was necessary, in order to communicate with India?); but since everyone seems to have apologised and withdrawn the ad, I'm not sure this quite qualifies as 'racism storm'.
As for people in Britain not wanting to move, wasn't that what Norman Tebbit also said?

Just in case AOG ever returns to this thread, I've decided to respond to him.

I'm a little more discerning in what I choose to post, AOG.
I don't seize the first ill-informed opportunity to make fatuous comments about an article linked from a newspaper hardly even-handed about its reporting.
The news items you choose NOT to make threads about throw into ever sharper relief the ones that you DO make posts about.
There is a definite and unpleasant 'theme' which runs through your posts (and moreover, it seems, your mind).
When you have 'baited too far' your standard whimper of response is that you are trying to provoke 'healthy debate'.
You're not; you're just trying to provoke.
