As the election looms ever nearer, who of the three major parties are going to address the problems of mass immigration?
It has become an increasing problem during new labour's 13 years in office, and there is no reason to believe it will be better if they win another period in office.
Under a Liberal government they would only encourage more immigrants to these shores.
Cameron will not risk his chance of becoming our next Prime Minister by speaking out about the problems faced by mass immigration.

Immigration is now the number one issue. If people had any sense they would either vote UKIP or BNP who seem willing to tackle the problem.
They may not win the election but they could get more seats and make the major parties take the matter seriously.

It says a lot that the letter sent to parliament has not yet received any response. That means that they dont know how to reply and those reporting the problem are right about the depth of the impact on society. The levels of immigration are unsustainable and nobody wants to tackle the problem. Why should anybody who wants to talk about the subject be considered "racist". By not discussing it will not make it go away.

I think many people could accept some immigration if the immigrants were not given special treatment and are able to flout the law.
1. Criminals are not deported if they claim they will be illtreated in their home country.
2. Illegals are allowed to to stay if they marry a European whilst here.
3. They come here on a bogus student visa and bring their relatives with them.
4. Any babies born here can't be deported which means mum stays as well.
5. As soon as they arrive they are entitled to all social benefits.
6. And if they are denied anything they claim compensation .
Before anyone accuses me of racism. I have several hardworking Asian friends
who agree with what I have wriitten and would also like a severe curb on immigration.

This response from the linked article pretty much sums up the situation in my opinion and I think you'll agree is hard to argue against.
The dangers to a host nation like the UK of uncontrolled mass immigration are glaringly obvious. Just as water flows to the lowest level poor people will always move to a richer country. It is never be the other way round.
They go there to take advantages of better wages, schools, health facilities and social services and the more who arrive the more those facilities and services will be stretched at the expense of the people already living there.
If there are no controls on this process it will continue until the the host nation becomes as poor as the countries from which the immigrants leave and it will only be at that point that the incentive to come here is removed.
By that time we will have become, if not a third world country, one that has been reduced to the level of the poorest Eastern European nation. It is a simple, basic fact of immigration and the Peterborough situation is its proof.

\\Does anyone actually keep up to date with the laws regarding immigration?
Did you know that there are actually restrictions on immigration and a points based system for potential immigrants? //
Yes vic theres is, but ONLY for people outside of the EU, anyone from within the EU can travel here and work, and get benifits or not work and get benifits, just wait till Turkey joins the EU. and this lot are also waiting... http://news.bbc.co.uk...html/introduction.stm
Population of Turkey... 75 million, if just 5% of the population came to this country (remember the goverment underestimated the number that would come here when the newest member states joined) we could be looking at 3.7 million people heading here.
Dave.
