Bruxelles and the Burka

Over here in Belgium they are lvoting today on whether or not to ban the burka. The French have also indicated they are keen too. Fines of 110 for first time and Jail for subsequent offences.

Given the labour parties desire to covet all things from Belguim coupled with its desire to slur everyone who would suggest such things a racist in this country and of course the views 'unite wimin' Hariat Harperson just what are they going to do ? Labour must be in total turmoil !!!

My ski balaclava covers everything but my eyes, unless I push it down under my chin.

If you type "balaclava" into Google Images, all but one on the first page cover the whole face except the eyes.

OK - soz, but I have always thought of a balaclava as from when I was a kid leaving the face clear.

I have actualy changed it on Gravatar to Spike in Life of Brian but it remains Batman.

I was hoping to change it on a regular basis but it doesn't appear to work :-(

JJ missed your answer yes your right I think I was about 11 last time I saw a wollen balaclava though I really wanted one similar to yours this winter.

The modern, thin ones are great.

I wear mine with a hat on top, and a Buff round my neck, which I can also pull up over my nose.

Very cosy.

Also great for mountain biking in winter, or wearing under a motorbike helmet.
