...but already it was impossible to say which was which.
A bloke in a pub told me that the world is ruled by the Illuminati and that they hold black votes but we're not allowed to know what they vote about or why.

Funny, but I've never seen that bloke since. Makes you think.
It is called looking at the demographics.

Next time they could look at the grey vote, how the elderly vote, or the Pink vote, the voting patterns of homosexuals.

Just because they were looking at voting tendencies of black people, does not make it sinister.
I believe the percentage of black people registered to vote is far lower than the percentage from other "groups".

I think that is what they are trying to change.

Here in Birmingham I have seen adverts targetted at black people asking them to register to vote.
if you registered to vote you will end up paying poll tax, ( sorry, council tax ) if you had the choice what would you do ?
DrFilth

Council Tax is levied on the property, not the person. People not on the electoral role still pay Council Tax.
Wouldn't people, of whatever skin colour, vote according to what they see ass their own interests?
Not always, the people of Bradford are advised to vote for their cousins cousin who arrived from some 'stan or other under a lorry, and is now representing their consituency. Immigration Minister Phil Woolas representing Oldham east and Saddleworth is in trouble with an Islamic group, who have it in for him (Daily Express today) because they think he is anti Muslim they wish to replace him with someone who will represent the views of the Muslims, this person is Elwyn Watkins a personal adviser of a wealthy Saudi sheikh. Whatever they want they usually get.
Families tend to vote the same as the father so the more control he has the more likely they are to vote in the way he wants. That is one of the reasons why I am against postal voting. The same thing apples to communities the more close knit they are the more they vote the same way and the more they can be influenced by the local big mouths, be they trade union leaders, Imams or people like George Galloway, in whose constituency there was massive postal fraud.
