Funny or not?

Earlier this year, this un-funny comic, made a joke on Down's Syndrome sufferers which caused outrage at the time, but strangely he received plenty of support from some on this site.
After this latest so called "topical joke" (which to me was once again totally insensitive), will the same people who supported him last time, (and who would condemn any comedian for telling a racist joke), be prepared to support him once again?

Yes I remember laughing at that one - when I was about 15.
You may want to think this one through and compare it to the FB joke in your question.
“I’ve had so many conversations with taxi drivers that I knew what it feels like to want to shoot them in the head”,’
Only the timing of this joke is offensive. It's presupposition is that:
- some taxi drivers are so boorish you want to kill them.
The pre-supposition of your joke aog is that:
- being black is so bad it's even worse than being blind.
Which of these presuppositions do ABers think is the most sinister or objectionable?

I think the difference between Bernard Manning and Boyle is that Manning couldn't care less about whether anyone was offended by his material or not, he just thought he was telling jokes.
Boyle on the other hand deliberately sets out to offend. If half the audience aren't offended, or he considers he's failed.
