It has been discovered that drivers who don't add screenwash to their wiper water, are more likely to contact legionnaires' disease.
Watch out for a price increase in screen wash.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if I found that their data hadn't been rigourously assessed - sounds unlikely that their sample size would be big enough to stand up to analysis.
From what I read most cases occur late summer/autumn and are most likely contracted abroard

Cannot see any reason not to add screenwash to windscreen washer water as it aids screen cleaning - especially in summer. Washing-up liquid contains salt, clogs jets and does not do such a good job.
Legionnaires' disease is contracted by breathing in bacteria that can live in warm, stagnant water: like washer bottles in summer. I add small amount of meths to mine to help keep container and pipes clean.

Hi Oneeyedvic Nice to see you back with us, didn't you say you were leaving the site?
Glad to see you have to have peep in to see what is going off, even though you said earlier that nothing changes.
Well in this case you have struck lucky things have changed. I have to admit for once I am wrong, I know a very unusual happening , but there you go.
I was wrong regarding the newspapers, it was indeed the Daily Mail, although it took you and not jake-the-peg to point this out, (not the same person are you)
Typed the word 'Cancer' into the serach engine of each newspaper, Daily Express came up with 1,393 results, and the Daily Mail came up with a massive 13,568 results.

I think I have the right paper AOG
There's a (addmittedly sad) website devoted to Daily Mail Cancer scare stories

Oh dear, your memory playing tricks again, or do you just read what you want to read. Here is what I posted: http://www.theanswerb...s/Question897675.html
The last paragraph (just in case you don't get that far - I know you feel that with The Mail etc, they have all you need to know in the first couple of paragraphs) reads:
Anyway, just thought I would pop on to say that I won't be on much more - nothing personal, no tantrum, no resigning - just pressures at work and home life. I am sure that I will come on occasionally when time permits (and I am sure that things won't have changed again).
Anyway, nice to see you admit that you are wrong - maybe somethings DO change :)
