How long must we put up with these people.
Pity the soldiers didnt have the right to use their baynets.
I suppose most of them are on benefits anyway?

I do see reports of the EDL throwing pork chops at them!
incidently the Mail claims "violence flared" funny they didn't manage to get any pictures of that don't you think?
The bigest outstanding inciter of racial hatred in this country is the Daily Mail itself

I cannot believe some on this site who apparently condone these Muslim scum insulting our brave troops on their homecoming.
Even the Daily Mail who some accuse of being bias, failed to support our troops and taking the side of the EDL, who it seems are the only ones we can depend on to drive these traitors from, if not our country, then from our streets.
/// One of the organisers, Abu Abbas, said: 'They have gone over and killed civilians. We cannot accept this.' ///
We hear them bleating the same rhetoric time and time again, but you never hear them condemn their fellow Muslims who have killed many more civilians, with their lunatic suicide bombers.
/// But Barking and Dagenham Muslim councillor Manzour Hussain said: 'MAC do not represent the vast majority of law-abiding, peaceful Muslim members of society who respect Britain's Armed Forces and the work they do.'///
Then why do we not see groups of these so called law-abiding, peaceful Muslims, integrated amongst their fellow British, welcoming home our brave troops?
It is time for the law to act now, these traitors should be rounded up and their passports confiscated and their details entered in an anti-British register. These Muslims maybe today protesters but who knows tomorrow? bomb making terrorists.

What percentage of non-Muslims take the day off to welcome home the troops?
Have you been down to Wooton Bassett? If so, how many times have you been?
Why SHOULD Muslims go out of their way to support homecoming troops? What if they are by and large against the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq? Would you expect non-Muslim anti-war protestors to line the streets welcoming home the troops?

Perhaps you should take another look at the photographs there seems to be a great deal more Muslim protesters than your estimated 20.
/// There were 1000s of supporters of the soldiers and less than 40 (probably nearer 20) Muslim protesters. Yet the Muslim protests grab the headlines ///
What is your reasoning behind this ridiculous statement?
If there was !0,000 supporters of the soldiers and only one Muslim who went up to them and spat at them, he would still grab the headlines. The reason because it was him who acted in a totally aberrant way.

I don't think that you'll find many people who support them, joeluke.
I think you'll find far more people who recognise, that as distasteful and inappropriate it is, they have a legal right to voice their opposition.
If they stray into the territory of incitement it appears that they are dealt with later....

I am against these wars but I will always support the job they have been told to do, these are British Muslims? you talk about...
They live here and were born here, therefore will have to understand why we are in Afghanistan, like I have to, but don't agree with it at all, the extremist should perhaps go there and fight for their cause, I doubt it, bloody lily-livered cowards!

It is little wonder that we will never have total integration in this country, while there are people who think like you.
Let me try and answers of your questions.
1/ /// What percentage of non-Muslims take the day off to welcome home the troops?///
I cannot obviously give you a percentage this can fluctuate, but what I can say is, this homecoming parade took place on Sunday, so most would have been away from work anyway. Perhaps you are trying to tell me that Muslims are so hard working that they cannot afford the time off, to welcome home 'THEIR' troops?
2/ /// Have you been down to Wooton Bassett? If so, how many times have you been?///
What this has got to do with the matter, I just do not know. Those who gather at Wooton Bassett are mainly the families and friends of the dead soldiers and the residents of Wooton Bassett.

3/ /// Why SHOULD Muslims go out of their way to support homecoming troops? ///
If they choose to reside in our country, then they should support their armed forces, because perhaps one day, they may need to call upon their services to protect themselves and their families, ie if not in war, then perhaps being ferried from danger by helicopter, taking over from the fire services and ambulance services, and building bridges and flood defences and other flood rescue missions.
4/ /// What if they are by and large against the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq? Would you expect non-Muslim anti-war protestors (protesters) to line the streets welcoming home the troops? ///
There are many of all races and religions who are against certain political military interventions, but you do not see them on our streets insulting our troops, these protests should be confined to the politicians at their place of work.
Well I hope I have answered your questions? but I don't suppose it will make any difference to the way you view such matters.

Well...it's a fact - they are. Muslims are more likely to be working on a Sunday, or at a mosque - rather than sitting at home hurling KFC bargain buckets down their throats sat in front of the telly (also the reason why you never see obese Muslim children).
I repeat my question - have YOU ever gone out of your way to welcome our boys home? Bet you haven't. You expect Muslims to, but have you? Why not? We all know how much you support our servicemen and women, but have you ever SHOWN them?

I assume you've had a look at these protestors' passports and can confirm they weren't born here?

I actually agree with you on this. The noise generated and the column inches dedicated to the extremists who have protested is disproportionate to their numbers. Every time something like this happens, the Muslim Council of Great Britain issues public statements denounncing the protests, but these press releases go largely unreported.
