/// What about the small number of convicted middle-aged white male paedophiles and child murderers - should we therefore keep all middle-aged white men under constant surveillance? By your argument, we should. ///
For your information, in the present age we live in all males whatever age, or of whatever colour, are under constant surveillance.
Would any lone male now approach a seemingly lost child, have a camera on display anywhere near where children are, or smile and dare to speak to a child in the presence of some mothers?

Back to the subject of the OP.......nothing to hide = no reason to object to the cameras
The bleeding hearts brigade triumphs over national security

joeluke, I can honestly say all of your posts I've seen are tragic. You have a truly one-dimensional brain. It's as though you've inhaled every Daily Mail cliche there ever was, and are just spewing them out, one by one. You're a walking embodiment of the fact that the biggest threat to our country is our own stupidity, not terrorists.

Time for you to wake up and smell the coffee, and when the next terrorist attack in this country is carried out by seemingly 'ordinary' people who live anonymously within their own community perhaps you'll think that surveilance cameras in said community would have been a good idea after all
