Why more left-wing posters?
72 Answers
Why are there more Left-Wing posters on this site than Right-Wingers?
Since there seems to be more questions and answers posted during week day working hours, could it be that they are mainly public sector workers who have the time on their hands to indulge?

"right-wing posts on AB seem the ones most likely to show lower literacy, bad spelling, poor syntax, etc, compared with the left-wing ones"
So a hell of a lot of posters on AB are right wingers then are they?
The majority of us (MarkRae excepted) have made at least one spelling/garmmar/punctuation mistake on here at some point (typing too fast, not checking content before clicking on 'submit answer' etc)
It's an internet forum, not a chuffing exam

Oh my God! What is it with people on here? Skimming through posts - is there an argument brewing?
Left wing - right wing - whatever wing...........I think quite alot of people can think for themselves out of a box. One can fluctuate - isn't that the most wonderful thing about democracy that a person can hold varying opinions on different matters? An opinion is just that.....an opinion.....why does the opinion maker need to be classed and sealed? People can agree or disagree with another opinion and they have a choice to make a challenge - however that challenge in my opinion is much demeaned by personal abuse of one another.

How does your statement not suggest that people with right wing views are not as well educated in the English language as those with left wing views????

Yes, it is wonderful, but it so often seems to go unrewarded. It's unfortunate but it does seem to be an annoyingly frequent (though not overwhelmingly so) thing that people will just go with an opinion because it's the right-wing/left-wing/whatever one.

What's your leap from literacy levels to their ratios on AB got to do with ///people with right wing views are not as well educated in the English language/// ?
And which bit of z.e.u.h.l. don't you understand?

/// the defaced flag of St George as your Avatar.///
What's wrong with adding the word England to the flag of St George?
Don't you like the word 'England' or do you just think it is presumptious to use it in that way?
A bit like hijacking well known stereotypes that represent the people of this country and attaching one's own avatar name to it?
John Bull? Good grief. John Bulls#1t more like.

I would say that he isn't a facist but he insults people as he feels fit.
You mis my point entirely its not if hes a facist or not its about the right to hold an opinion that differs from yours with out the having to be insulted.
Also you have to the right to be whom you wish to be, but if your going to provoke an argument you should at least have the intellect to present any argument rather than just insult people.
