Those rogue Afghans

This time a rogue Afghan soldier, a few months ago a rogue Afghan policeman, can anyone (who apparently we are out there to protect), be trusted?
When our forces happen to accidentally inflict harm on the Afghans, all hell breaks loose, inquiries swiftly organised, and our troops harshly criticised on sites such as this.
I wonder what the response will now be over this terrible slaughter, carried out by a member of a savage religion.
No use saying these are in the minority, and most Muslims are peace loving, if you where out in Afghanistan who would you really trust?

/// the sas paratroopers were knwon for donning enemy uniforms to infiltrate high protection facilities during ww2, and thank the stars they did. ///
/// and thank the stars they did.///
What stars are these, Richard Burton, Clint Eastwood?
'Where Eagles Dare' good film perhaps, but not true to life I am afraid.
I think you watch too many WW2 films Ankou.

At last a voice of reason, nothing more I would like to see than for some to answer my questions.
"Can anyone out in Afghanistan, who we are protecting, be trusted"?
"if you were out in Afghanistan, who would you really trust"?
Although Andy wasn't it you that first started to support jno's rather silly analogy regarding Hitler invading Britain.
/// Cracking point jno - wish I'd thought of that!! ///
I think it was at this point, that my original question got side tracked, exactly what your present post complained about.

"Can anyone out in Afghanistan, who we are protecting, be trusted"?
yes, the vast majority, otherwise we wouldn't protect them.
"if you were out in Afghanistan, who would you really trust"?
my comrades, superiors, and hopefully the support of the biritsh people.
what pointles questions. you really are a bore.

Do I need to add what pointless answers?

/// yes, the vast majority, otherwise we wouldn't protect them.///
Now let us think this out, 'you would trust them because you are protecting them'??????
if you were out in Afghanistan, who would you really trust"?
/// my comrades, superiors, and hopefully the support of the biritsh people. ///
Yes I'll go along with that, but I am pleased to see you don't include the Afghan people.

/// my analogy wasn't silly; Kromovaracun kindly spelt it out in more detail. Seemingly still not enough, though.///
How much more do you want, the killing in this instance was cowardly, all the leading politicians say it was, the British media say it was, and most loyal British subjects say it was.
That leaves only you, Kromovaracun, and others on this site, that are not prepared to describe this as a cowardly act, which is a sad reflection on the support that our own troops get from some on this site.
It is little wonder why sites such as Face Book have just the same type of individuals who are prepared to support criminals as we have on here.

Thanks AOG here are my answers -
"Can anyone out in Afghanistan, who we are protecting, be trusted"?
Yes, but not everyone, which would be naiive.
Given that I am unsure the majority of people even know why British and US troops are in their country, and are therefore unlikley to be as grateful as you seem to think they should - there are some people in every country, this one included, who will always see authority as something to be fought. The difference is, in a society like this one, the concept of freedom and perceived oppression are far more likely to be met with a seriously robust response.
"if you were out in Afghanistan, who would you really trust"?
As a solider, I would trust other UK / American soldiers, and no-one else. People who see me as an invader / tyrant / monster are unlikely to advance on me proclaiming their views through a loudhailer - so I would keep my wits about me, and pray to get out of the country alive.

If so, my apologies, although I simply made a point, I did not 'complain' as such.
