Gazza and Moat

I live in NZ so dont get the chance to see the UK news that often.
Somebody told me last night that Gazza had gone down to the scene where Moat was threatening to kill himself and offered to talk him round?

Is this true if so can anyone please elaborate?

I didn't say I had any experience of Major Crime.

I do however have experience of psychology - I once knew a psychologist quite well, and we discussesd the subject of negotiation in hostage situations from that perspective, so, as I said, an educated (within the definition) guess.

dh001 - speciailst training as a Negotiator which takes years to aquire - which is why Moat's brother was similarly prevented from reaching him.
