craft, you missed out the bit where the British and Americans overthrew the prime minister in 1953 and installed the shah, the one who was in turn ousted by the people in 1979. Why would the Iranians think the British were smart?

(The coup was in support of western oil interests, of course - particularly Anglo-Iranian, which became the lovely BP.)

This man speaks for an Islamoc nation - Everyone should listen to what he says.

That is a nation that is rooted in the dark ages and abuses human rights, it allows no personal freedoms or voices.
