DC said it just popped out then heard on the news she had a Caesarean. Wonder why ? Couldn't she give birth naturally or didn 't they want to take any chances being 'who she is'?
All their children have been born by CS. I suspect (but don't know) that once you have had a CS, giving birth naturally has higher risks.
their first child was disabled, so they might have wanted to err on the side of caution.
1 thing is for certain...they wont have to worry about having their tax credits or family allowance cut or their parents having their winter fuel allowance cut/stopped...

Thought you could have only a certain amount of c sections 3 perhaps...
My eldest daughter had 4 C sections .
Also congratulations to them both (the Camerons I mean ) on the safe arrival of a healthy baby .
I heard on the news they were trying to decide on a name probably connected to Cornwall. Perhaps `Corny` like the fathers words sometimes !
Whatever my thoughts or opinions on the politics or the parents themselves, I wish them both the best with this little girl. After losing Ivan, she must be a blessing.

Anyone know the name? Scrumpy? Minack? Sardine?
Hope she wasn't born in Looe
Pastie would be nice. Pastie Cameron.

(They read out a whole string of Cornish girls' names at the end of the BBC news on TV last night, some of them were very mystic and Welsh sounding - not sure how they'd go with Cameron which has a definite Scottish tang to it.)

The baby is named Florence Rose Endellion: Endellion means Fire Soul and is the Cornish connection as the baby was born there:
