One of the last true Hollywood Stars eh?
Yes I just heard that, may he rest in peace
ahhhh, i really really liked Tony Curtis, he was my kinda star
I remember him mostly from "The Persuaders" with Roger Eyebrow, and in the fantastic film "some like it hot" with his cary grant impression ;)
I saw him on (I think) the One Show a couple of years ago. Very frail but all the charm was still there. His girlfriend(/wife?) was a very attractive woman and just for once I didn't find myself thinking she was only with him for his money, because even in his 80s there was something about him that attracted you.

"Yonder lies the castle of my fodder.".

I never knew till today jamie leigh curtis was his daughter lol
Really liked Tony Curtis!......Very sad!......But he had a long, fulfilled life..........no one lives forever!........
I've just watched the short tribute to him at the end of the news and I realised that i was smiling at the screen as it finished, he was just like that, someone to make you smile. I don't think he had a great part in his daughter's upbringing as he left when she was little and I've always got the impression they had not been very close.
There's already a thread going about Tony Curtis, - I contributed this morning.

or am I dreaming?

Yeah I loved the persuaders too, the way he completely took the mick out of Riger Noore, and he wore some brilliant clothes, he adlibbed a bit in that I reckon
Yep, I'm right. - This morning at 11-13 am.the thread was started by 'bernie6969'

there so far has been 31 posts.

Just thought I'd let you know. -- Jem
