EDL march to be banned

Once again the EDL have been banned from making a marched protest at the increase of Islam to this country.

Why is a group who state they are not racist not allowed to protest in their own country, against something they feel strongly about?

Why not ban the counter march by the Far-Left groups, to see who it is who causes the trouble? They in turn could then be allowed to have their march without any interference from the EDL.

If your check the report, the ban is on ALL marches on that day.

One last thing - we all have a right to freedom of speech, but the EDL aren't to be trusted because they've been infiltrated by extremists in the same way that Militant infected the Labour party in the 70s and 80s.

If the EDL could just manage to lose the skinheads who have no-one to fight now that football stadiums have CCTV, then they could be taken more seriously as a political lobby group.

As it is, the moment many people hear 'EDL', they think 'NF' or 'BNP'.

The EDL deliberately choose provocative places to have their marches. Then it buses its members in from Portsmouth.

They could save everyone the trouble and protest in their own home towns, but they probably wouldn't intimidate people by doing that.

Yes I am aware of that, that is the whole point they should not be banned altogether, only marching together, one inflames the other, but it is mainly the EDL who get the bad press.

Haven't the streets got their fair share of CCTV, if they haven't the media and others who have a vested interest, video events quite adequately, don't you think?.

Scare tactics once again, they are not racist skinheads, firstly because Islam is not a Race, and secondly they have members from other ethnic groups, who also oppose Islam.

The only ethnic minorities they have been accused of attacking are in fact Muslims who join the Far-Left groups, and use violence (bottles, stones, baseball bats etc) against them first, the EDL are only retaliating, and wouldn't you?.
