I would belive your assertion, if the 99% ever condemed the atrocities that are performed in the name of Allah.

There is an Islamic council of Britain, whose only condemnation came after being provoked.

There is no doubt that the Daily Mail promotes and adverse picture of Islam however they do nothing to help themselves to alter the situation.

I for one, find many facets of Islamic life unacceptable in British society and its only political correctness and the fear of being branded racist that stops many people from saying so publicly. If you have one ounce of compassion you cannot be an apologist for this "religion"

Dave there are many different types of Islam - there is Sunni , shi'ite, sufi, wahhabism and others.

I don't think Islamophobia would fade away if people got to know Muslims. Here in NI plenty of Protestants know Roman Catholics and vice versa and they still hate each others guts.

I cannot believe that some people actually believe in these non-facts, do they actually know each and every Muslim personally, so as to be able to come out with such outlandish statements, how do they know what goes off in their minds or what they are capable of?

It is just the same as those other non-fact statements made by some product manufacturers ie,

"This product kills 99% of all known germs"

Now these are what I call "Blind acceptance of warped facts".
