It is amazing, here we have yet another illegal immigrant, who has cheated the state out of thousands of pounds, yet hundreds of people who would normally be up-in-arms and crying out for Miss Ngazana and her family to be chucked out of the country, are now appealing for them to remain, why? because one of her daughters has been on X Factor.
/// Miss Ngazana, 38, had leave to remain in the country with her dependants until August 29 this year.///
/// However, she is believed to have claimed child tax credit and working tax credit worth thousands of pounds during her eight-year stay – which is against immigration rules.///

The law is for everyone, or else it is dulited to the point of irrelavence.
As usual, the media is fanning the flames and whipping up the frenzied reaction of individuals who really think that an apparently 'unfair' decision on a reality TV show should exempt an individual from the rules and regulations that apply to everyone else.
If this family are illegals, they should be depoted, as should all illegals - vocal talents, combined with popularity in a TV show are not, as far as i am aware, part of the resident status critera.

/// Immigration officials confirmed that her mother, Nokuthula Ngazana, had been refused permission to stay in the UK after her visa expired in August.///
This is not from the Mail but from a BBC report.
Since Nokuthula Ngazana, has been refused permission to stay in the UK, she and her family have been illegals since August.
At least that is how I see it.
