Of course. If you can't afford kids, why have them?
And what about people with good jobs and famillies who's businesses fail because of Government cuts?

Or don't middle class people get made redundant?
It's a good idea. I don't think people who are on benefits before they get pregnant should be given extra.
They had means to support their children while working and have put somthing into society. The benefit scroungers who have 14 kids just for a meal ticket are the ones who need dealing with.
Of course you should be able to afford them when you plan to have them, but people's circumstances can change.
Despite government propaganda - not everyone who is on the dole, wants to be there.

Its a cold hard place out there if you lose your job, Its all very well saying they should get a job but there have been no incentives by the government to create jobs.

Its just the same uncaring Tories the self self self. i'm all right jack society only this time they are going to "kill" there own middle class supporters.
we should be discouraging those that plan the size of their family around what benefits they will gain.

a large family on benefits doesnt always start off that way. But sadly, there are those who do have another child when the drop in their child tax credit comes, just to bump it up again

Well Jake as you well know it's aimed at career scroungers who have children as a form of income. Not those that mostly work and happen to find themselves between jobs and they normally have 2.4 kids anyway.
To be honest.. if you waited until you could afford kids.. you'd never get round to having them!!! You just have to scrap the annual holiday, be thrifty in the supermarket and frequent car boot sales... and suck it up!!!

If this targets the true "benefit scroungers" im all for it!
So I take it of those who support it, if there is no decline in the working class population, would be enthusiastic supporters of involuntary sterilisation.

How about we just sterilise the children of those on benefits as soon as they are born.
Why can't we just sterilise the adults BEFORE they have their spawn?
No it's unfair to punish the kids but sterilise the "baby factory" scroungers so they can't leech any more out of society

So where did that leap of illogic come from dave? In case you haven't noticed the whole point is they are not working; class wise or otherwise
Jake, unlike serial scroungers who produce babies without a second thought, the people you're talking about don't have children expecting the state to keep them from the outset. If people can't afford to keep their kids, they shouldn't have them.
I am being extreme. I have Daughter made redundant 4 months ago and she spent hours a day applying for everything. She is going temping as from Monday.

I have another daughter who's boyfriend couldn't get a decent job because although he is qualified didn't have experience. He never claimed anything working in gardening on an ad hoc basis and now has a low paid driving job.

My point is, as i always make about such things. There is no doubt that a large number of people manipulate the situation, it isn't everyone. However people allow propergander to blanket the entire situation.

Not everyone who is unemployed, was unemployed when they had children and not everyone who is unemployed wants to be.

But never mond its in the Sun so it must be right.
Naomi have I miss read that? You advocating that nobody should have children because they might become unemployed?
But I assume your daughters haven't had 7 kids a piece to milk the system?
