Feeling Old

I so should be out partying but curled up on the sofa on a Saturday night watching Casualty with a bag of Haribo.

Trying to shake off the tail end of a cold and knackered so a quiet one for me.

Quite glad in a way am all cosy in the warm but feeling a little old lol :)

What is everyone else up to?

I'm just arsing around on AB and having a (rare) drink-free Saturday evening. I've made some super duper Rocky Road bars this arvo and there is a queue of familial quality controllers forming already...

I'm watching Pillars of the Earth, not sure about it yet sort of Robin Hoodish, and I've just had a piece of Parkin cake and a cup of tea. We aren't going out tonight the OH isn't too good, we'll see how he is tomorrow. When you do get to 78 Jenna you may want to stay in more often.

I am quite glad I'm here in the warm I have to say :) Been looking forward to some R&R all week.

It's only the end of my cold but just annoyingly lingering, probably sitting in an airconned office with no windows next to a colleague who also has a cold for up to 12 hours a day, think we are just passing the germs back and forth!

Few extra hours in work today and coffee with friends and I was done today haha :)

Looking forward to an early night and a lie in!

I so need to do some knitting! Have wool and knitting and crochet needles in my eyeline but keep not getting round to it. Determined to knit something special for my gorgeous new nephew :)

Well we did a long coastal walk and did load of birdwatching so I suppose he's allowed to be tired especially after potroast beef, mash and veg, brandy poached plums and ice cream....just making coffee might get the port out...

You know, I haven't taken many lately, been a bit of a not so dirty stop in for me!

Was meant to be at a party tonight, fancy dress so would have been great for photos (not to mention the prospect of a couple of my friends in lycra!) but have opted for the sofa.

Think the last ones I took was watching them filming Captain America in town, trying to catch a glimpse of Samuel L Jackson haha.

I'm just starting the 'cold' season... spent the day draining the tissue box.. work tomorrow should be interesting...!!! (Might have to have a nip of Brandy.. medicinal you understand...).. Keep warm lovely... (PS I'm the old one...In a few of years I'll be younger than you as I'm going backwards now!!!)

I have gone through so many tissues, been driving me mad, don't know where it all keeps coming from! I tried to work through it but ended up resorting to Day Nurse to keep going at work during the day. Took me the best part of a week to get over the streaming stage but still knackered and lots of gross stuff :(

Going into work for a few hours tomorrow again to catch up but not going too mad, hoping a god rest this weekend will shift it properly.

We so need another mad day out soon! Preferably with less hills :)
