It's worth a minimum of twenty years, which I think he's got today. At least the Saudis didn't allow him diplomatic immunity. It's a good question whether they'd have done anything to him 'back home'. Here it was too embarrassing but there they might have hushed it up and maybe paid something to the victim's family
