Should Militant Muslims in Brfitain be de-Radicalised?
Our prisons are full up with these so called religious nutters whose only purpose in life is to kill those who disagree with them. The latest stabbing of Stephen Timms show how far they are willing to go.
So now she is being sent to prison for at least 15 years spreading her hate and vile probably encouraging all those who listen to her. Fifteen years of spreading her views in prison makes the matter worse.
Why can't they be forced to attend sessions on de-radicalisation? Is there any difference in trying to deprogram others from religious sects which are often carried out?
The idea is not new. Saudi Arabia often does it and has much success. In fact if it wasn't for the Al Qaeda terrorist who gave information to the authorities about those parcel bombs recently what damage could have been caused. This terrorist had a course of de-programming in the past.

Forced? can we force drug addicts to attend any classes that will help their addictions? No.
Can we force violent offenders to do anger management classes? No.
The reality is we cannot force anyone to attend de-radicalisation classes either though funnily enough all those mentioned seem to flock to prison classes whenever it becomes apparent that this may help them released early via parole so the key here is maybe to to tell them that de-radicalisation may help them be released early but then as with the drug and violent lot you may have someone that goes to classes but still takes part in or intends to take part in drugs, violence or radical religious groups when they got out.

And they charged the victim's family for the cost of the bullet. Talk about ramming the point home.
I like the story, recorded inThe Newgate Chronicles, of the 18C woman who ran beside the cart taking her husband to the gallows at Tyburn. She stopped the cart and handed him a length of rope to hang him with because she knew he had no money to buy one himself. When told that the Sheriff would pay for it she exclaimed, "Oh Lord, so I've wasted 4d!"

Muslims make up 12% of the British population. Many of them are locked up together. It don't look to good for the future when many of them are released into society many of them converts.
