I'm consistant.

If the police do something wrong (like shooting an innocent man in the head 6 times) then I of course say that they should be brought to account.

If they do something right, and someone without any justification says they might be failing, then I will defend them.

The paramedic - definitely not.

The teacher may not have committed a crime, but if I thought my 13 year old daughter's teacher was sharing showers with the class I'd be very concerned and I'd lodge a complaint.
