To all those on the Left that accuse the Daily Mail of 'stretching the truth', should now read these Left wing publications.

'Stretching the truth'? These are damn right lies.

do you mean downright?
The lies were from the lips of a Labour candidate...........other publications may have subsequently picked them up but there is no doubt that Woolas was the originator of them.
Yes....I always felt sorry for this guy after he was hijacked " in front of the cameras" by Joanna Lumley on the plight of the Gurkhas. He got my sympathy rather than the devious Miss Lumley.

He is paying a high price for his foolishness.

bibblebub you are quite correct, although damn right is correct, but not in the context I had put it.

"Damn Right" these were "Down Right" lies,

A little nitpicking all the same.
Those aren't national newspapers, they are election propaganda.

A couple of right-wing judges made that ruling. It will be overturned when the truth comes out.

Election propaganda, by its very nature is biased towards one point of view, namely that of the candidate publishing it. In this instance, the literature contained lies which broke the rules, and Woolas, quite rightly has been punished.
Just looking back at one of your previous answers AOG, you seemed a bit of a fan of this lying Minister

Yes at last a minister talking sense, the new immigration minister, Phil Woolas should know what he is talking about since he is also the MP for Oldham East & Saddleworth.

Wise words also from Sir Andrew Green, chairman of MigrationWatch UK. //

Gromit

/// Those aren't national newspapers, they are election propaganda.///

Where did I say they were?

What I said was "they were Left Wing publications".
Question Author
Unlike the other side, I can give out praise to the party of the Left, if the recipient deserves it, and at that time he seemed he did.

But the likes of Gromit and jno seem to posses a crystal ball to see into the future.

But now in hindsight it seems that all this party are tarred with the same brush..
