She deliberately killed her autistic son (murder) by forcing him to drink bleach, and has wriggled out of a murder charge by claiming insanity(diminished responsibility). Charge reduced to manslaughter (Slapped wrist?).

Let's just bring back capital punishment, and save hard pressed taxpayers the swingeing costs of trials. I'm all for it. Particularly in this "time of austerity". Aren't you?

to the Question Author - I'm thinking of reporting you or arranging to send some bleach over for you to imbibe - the world would be a much better place without your ilk.
Crikey, and i thought I was being harsh telling him to shuddup!
"lily livered" "do gooders" "bleeding hearts" do you really think it's fair to ask people for their opinions here then to judge them this way just because you don't like the responses ?
(Another one to add to the small list of sad AB fascists)
well i am not exactly a lib/left winger but I do have a good friend in the USA who has a 10 year old autistic son - he is not an extreme case but still a handful - and she has no hubbie support. Her two daughters (one 12, the other his twin) are fantastic. eyethenkyew is totally out of order on this one ........... The Earth would be better off without such infantile opinions.
"do you really think it's fair to ask people for their opinions here then to judge them this way just because you don't like the responses ? "

Amen to that ^^^^^.
i dont know all the details of this case, nor am i a judge or jury.
Cazzz,

That's what makes you pretty special, my lovely......you care and you're strong too. Dont ever forget that. :0) x
He's on my list as well, AP!
Looking at the previous questions asked by the OP shines a small light into his mind.........It has to be a small light 'cos he's only got a small mind !!
please switch off the light
>With such a bunch of bleeding hearts as are on here

You obviosuly have no compassion.

My wife works with people who are carers. People who have to look after children or husbands / wives who need 24 hour support. You have to feed them, change them, wipe their bottoms etc

Some of these carers have never had a holiday for 30 years.

My wife has had people crying their eyes out in front of her as they are at the end of their tether.

You have no idea of what it is like to look after a person for 24 hours a day, year after year, caring for their every need, day and night, without a break.

I think you had better get more experience of life before posting your pathetic comments.
funny that this Questionauthor, eyethenkyew, hasn't come back with a response for the last hour or so.

I would be more impressed if he/she did come back apologise for taking such an insensitive, uncaring, angle on this case.
I think that eyethenkyew is Mr Angry.

The woman probably got to the stage where she was unable to see a way forward for her son. Perhaps she planned to kill herself - but of course you would consider that to be a cowardly way out.

I am not a do-gooder or any other types of people that you consider weak - I am, unlike yourself, a normal human who is capable of understanding another humans position.

God forbid that I would ever take the life of another human being, but if I did I'd be safe in the knowledge that I'd be acquitted if the responses of the majority on here are anything to go by.

No wonder the "Great" no longer applies to Britain. I just wonder how many of the invertebrates on here have also been in favour of the recent well documented military Courts Martial involving some of our heroes who fought in Iraq on behalf of this country and its citizens? I shudder to think.
...in your *humble* opinion ?
LOL - another 'dictator' falls gracelessly amid a shower of reason.
It's the bleach that gets me. Some sleeping pills and a pillow I could understand, but forcing a kid to drink bleach?
I know - utterly horrible, poor little lad.
No one has the right to take another's life IMO - it's especially sad when it's a helpless youngster.
Two points from Fred's post.

Infanticide was an early concession to post-natal depression and did not carry the death penalty. It applied only to the killing by a mother of her child under the age of one year, and no-one else.

Capital punishment was suspended (later abolished) 9 months before the conviction of the Moors murderers. All their crimes were committed while hanging remained in force. Had they been caught earlier, Myra Hindley would no doubt have replaced Ruth Ellis as the last woman to go to the gallows as there would appear to have been no possible grounds for a reprieve.
A very sad case.

I mean eyethankyou obviously.
