and the bbc gang in attack found this on the web
In a media world defined by choice, the BBC licence fee is an outdated compulsory subscription model that should be scrapped. How can we keep justifying this outdated TV fee?
The media environment is defined by choice. But the one element that’s missing is the choice to pay the licence fee or not.
We are forced to pay the licence fee by law, and thereby forced to pay for the BBC, despite alternatives being freely and widely available.
And as technology delivers alternative ways to watch TV, so the fee’s justification crumbles
can you imagine having to pay for the mail newspaper when you go to buy your guardian.
it is just the same as being forced to pay for a left wing biased tv channel that a lot of people don't want or need.
the entire bbc hierachy is driven by greed, corruption and secrecy it is just like an old boys club .

I think it is good value, but I would say that, because I don't have to pay.
So may I take this opportunity to say thank you to all those who subsidise me.
Now can Scotland also thank England for subsidising your Universary fees, prescriptions and old folks care.
Wales can also do likewise for their free prescriptions.

If you use the BBC iPlayer to watch BBC programmes after they have been broadcast either to download or via streaming on demand then you will not need a TV Licence .
geezer not like you to make such a big mistake, this is taken from the bbc web site
you can ask them again if you so desire

simple he recorded them while he had a valid licence.
after telling tvl that he no longer watched live tv broadcasts and did not need a licence they have sent an inspector round to check his equipment
please remember when you watch the video clips this was not a set appointment
they will never tell you what time they are coming. this is so you can't fiddle with your tv equipment before they get there

also the bbc guidlines state that they will only check the immediate living area (downstairs rooms which have the tv set in )
if you listen to the inspector he wants to check the bedrooms ( the persons wife was undressed in one room )
if you contact the bbc they will tell you what i have just stated

Here's my reasoning why the licence is plain theft!
I do not watch tv AT ALL but instead play games and only games but because my tv is CAPABLE of receiving a signal ( well duh how would I play my games console?) I therefore HAVE to pay a licence for something I do not use .
Now please anyone who thinks the licence is fair explain how it is to people like myself who don't watch broadcasts but still use our tv's.
