Just because a school boy, (himself a Muslim) dared to write a Facebook tribute to British troops on Armistice Day, the young lad was.branded 'racist' and some pupils from the 65% predominate Muslim school threatened to attack him on the following Monday.with knives and knuckledusters.
This passage from another paper, says it all about the police's lack of interest, especially when one of the pupils posed for a 'Facebook' photo brandishing an AK47 rifle.
/// A spokesman for West Midlands Police confirmed they had been informed but said the school was dealing with the matter.///
At least the question must be asked, from where did he get this weapon and where is it now?

You blame the parents for teenagers behaviour? Sometimes it is indeed the parents fault but many other times the teenagers lead a double life which is no fault of the parent, just ask here how many people had sex, were petty criminals or drank and smoked without their parents ever knowing.
If the youth with the AK-47 was pictured abroad with the Ak, then it has nothing to do with the laws here.

We are talking about youngsters here, they must learn this hatred from their elders at home.
/// If the youth with the AK-47 was pictured abroad with the Ak, then it has nothing to do with the laws here.///
How on earth could you possibly assume that the picture was taken abroad.
On a very liberal 50-50 chance it was, there is also a 50% chance that it wasn't, so at least it should warrant a crash search of his parents home.

The key word I used was "IF" which is not assuming anything, please look at all facts before jumping down my throat.
I will agree with you, if there is proof that the picture was taken here then by all means it should be investigated to ascertain is it real, a replica an airgun, was this taken on private property, public property etc...

How on earth could you assume that the rifle is hidden at his parents' home?

This gentleman also “got mouthy” (albeit on Twitter rather than Facebook):

The result – a visit from Plod and his subsequent arrest.
