As long as the Royals are paying for it, not us, I don't mind - at least they are not buying the gold from overseas and importing it.
Bah, humbug!
Stop wingeing for goodness sake, can't we have something lovely to think about for a change?

I suppose there is that fact boxy, I am not anti Royalist but there are lots of people who will be fed up with this type of press?
Question Author

All I want to know, bobbi, is if we are getting a day off work to celebrate! I hope it'll be a nine-day wonder, I am tired of it already.
I had you down as a Royalist Bobbs! Dunno why.

I'm with the maggot there ^.

Let's just be happy for them, they're a young couple getting married for heavens sake, despite his (then her) titles.

Besides, I love a bit of pomp and ceremony, one of the things us Brits still do remarkebly well, im looking forward to it.
Question Author
apparently so boxy, an extra BH on the cards for all of you, so I say thats something to look forward to
Are you sure you're not anti-royalist bobbi?
Question Author
I am not anti Royal BOO at all I would rather have them than a republic and yes, I love the Pomp and Ceremony that comes with them, but do we need to know every little detail,,,perhaps we do...lol
It's the media doing the 'shoving'.........and the family get the back-lash.
Question Author
y'know jack, this is so right, putting it that way
thanks...;-)
It's only been 'shoved' at me because you've just posted about it. In my own time I may have accudentally come across the info and been touched by it.
Question Author
ha-ha dotty...sorry ;-(
I have a feeling by the time of the wedding we will all be sick to the back teeth (yes I still have some left) of the whole affair.

Suggest the ED arranges a special 'Royal Wedding' topic slot, then anyone who is interested can post a royal post without upsetting the 'Republicans'.
I should probably at this point decare my undyin lotalty to Her Majesty and all her family and I will never have a bad word to type against them and any wedding comments will be made with respect, enthusiasm and affection.
Wouldn't the country be more angry if royal weddings, funerals etc.. were done in secret behind closed doors and we never got to know about them?
Yes, he is the future king, he has plenty of money and status therefore they are going to have an extravagant ring for their wedding. Not saying I agree with the society that puts people in that elevated position but seeing as they are there they should darn well make the most of it. It makes me laugh when people complain about how the Royal Family behave, they should see the way I would behave if I was Royal I'd be wasting money by the bucketload and not be liked at all.

OK...I love em all every last one of them....PMSL!!!!!
Question Author
