Steg,
I can understand friends willing to put up money and wanting only the Chandlers' safe release. But the statements all said "Private investors" which implies they expect some kind of financial reward.
Whatever, you seem to know more than the rest of us, so I am sure you can reassure us that the Daily Mail was not a Private Investor in this?
if they're investors, what were they investing in, exactly? It's not the same as 'donors', after all. Any clarification welcome.
Any of these Somali pirates famous yet, like Capt Blackbeard, or Capt Hook?
Now they are sponsored by the Mail, I understand their leader now calls himself Captain Littlejohn.
sandyRoe, they're popular locally for scaring off illegal fishing trawlers

i can't reassure you of anything Gromit, but you were making things up saying they were true not me, as for "you seem to know more than the rest of us" crap, another untruth Gromit, but one thing i would safely say.... i know more than you
Capt Gedow Ali, who was the ringleader of those who held the C's - not quite the same ring in the name as Capt Hook, Sparrow or Blackbeard, is it?
Thanks for your input anyway steg.
well he will be when the film comes out, just like you never heard of Sparrow before they filmed his biography.
captain Ged, has a good ring to it
nae bother Gromit it was good fun
his name translates into a few good anagrams - like Glad I Owe
Glade Owl
Wide Gaol or Wide Goal
Would there be pirate booty buried on the Red Sea beaches? A holiday with a metal detector after things quieten down out there might be profitable
Sandy

Indian Ocean or Gulf of Aden your best bet.
They never bury the treasure in their own backyard. So some beach in Sudan or Egypt or even Saudi? They're all on the Red Sea
Actually, they just got given the Daily Mail lucky numbers.
lol, Gromit
/// So all you Daily Mailers are lining the pockets of those Somali muslim terrorists, I trust you will all be boycotting the paper and website when this story is printed? ///

I wonder if Gromit will be taking his own advice, since he periodically posts Daily Mail links, those that fit his own agenda.

Was there need to point out they were 'Muslim terrorists'? 'Somali pirates' would have sufficed.
