Rojash: No i don't think killing people is civilised but I was really testing the idea that it would also be equally uncivilised to allow the abuse of innocents simple because we have no stomach to deal with the problem. I would settle for life in jail if it meant life but these vermin will one day be out and up to their old tricks with the state powerless to prevent it, is that civilised?

this type of crime should be dealt differently than even murder,prisoners on the sex offenders list are often segregated in prison for their own protection. and large amounts of money are spent to rehabilitate them, medical castration should be compulsary, for life. and a prison used to house them, no luxuries should be allowed , only basic "care" given,
