He should have felt the full weight of the law for the DD offence. Perhaps he'll get sent down at next weeks hearing.............?
But only for breaking the laws that he actually broke not for what 'might' have happened !
The sooner he throws open his closet door the better he'll feel............
If you look on a similar thread, I found, without much trying, 3 examples of people in similar circumstances who were 'let off' custodial sentences, so Gazza is not unique.
No CAS -I know this but the point I was trying to make was this guy did no more than clip a kerb (we've all done it my alloys are testamount) -he didnt take charge of a vehicle under the influnce-it was an accident and someone was killed.Yet Gazza on the other hand couldnt have given a flying flump so i think he is the one who should be in jail and not the other guy who avoided it my the skin of his teeth -I dont think he should have been even considered for a custodial in the first place but thats a by the by.
Sorry Dr Filth -I didnt see your post -that is shocking and that man is a disgrace and he should have had a custodial.
Thats the problem -there are guidelines but its up to who is sentencing how they interpret them and thats is wriong IMO.They should be far more astringent.
We have a Sheriff in Perth (Wheatley) although think he's High Court now -who allegedly jailed drink drivers because he could and he allegedly always did...his daughter was killed by one :(
