being able to distinguish different uniforms is a matter of education, not intelligence. I hope today's teachers are not spending too much time lecturing people on how to tell an Army uniform from an RAF uniform; life has other lessons that need to be learnt much more urgently.

Hi oneeyedvic: I do not consider the details and vague descriptions are irrelevant in this report due to the apparent motive of the attack particularly as this could be classed by some as a racist incident etc. Out of interest how would you have reported it? Surely this incident is worthy of a news report if nothing else to serve as a warning
