I have in the past mostly supported the Daily Mail when accused of sensationalised reporting.

Well this time it appears that they are indeed guilty of this while at the same time appealing for the Muslim readership.

What a load of over generalisation, useless non-facts, a complete one-sided investigation aimed at criminalising the EDL, an investigation that would be more at home in The Guardian than the Mail.

Could one imagine a similar investigation into some of the thugs that attended the recent students riots, or perhaps those thugs of the UAF or maybe Muslim Against Crusades?

There ya go 4846 ..QED (happy now?)
I'll just add this to your diatribe Git ...YOU are AT LEAST as "aggressive" as your so-called bullies - and you start it.

Take no notice of Answerprancer's smiley 4846.

He actually doesn't like the fact that you are sticking up for me.

It is his usual junior playground method to try and get you on his side, or in his gang.

Notice his pathetic attempt to ask the ED not to remove my thread.

/// Ed please don't remove this thread, it really needs to be left as an example.///

But don't be taken in by this evil person, he very rarely posts a News question, but spends his time hovering over the site like a vulture ready to swoop down aggressively on anyone he disagrees with.

By clicking onto his Avatar one will see his record 183 questions but 4667 answers.

Much easier to criticise than to construct a debatable subject, it would seem.

Blimey Answerprancer are you still up?

Way past your bedtime, you know it is school tomorrow?
Can't see AP and AOG ever making it down the aisle together, somehow.
TBH - They are as bad as each other.

/// He really is the most appallingly rude and despicable person on the site. ///

I have to disagree with you I'm afraid, there are others including yourself who are past masters at being appallingly rude and despicable persons, just reading your remarks makes me realise I have a very long way to go, before I catch up with the likes of you and the others.

So please don't let me 'rain on your parade' carry on with your insults if that is he only way you can enter into debate, but let me say "it only goes to show that you are losing your temper, and anyone who loses their temper loses the debate".

/// Just about to do the same with UAF and Mac (although I suspect I won't find much on the MAC as they're not that well known).///

Did you have any joy? No, but then I thought you wouldn't.

Since I have answered the bully boys I thought it only fair to address your more reasonable post.

/// AOG: Why do you suddenly drop your faith in the mail when you dislike what they're saying? Why do you suddenly develop a capacity to critically assess their reports, but don't when they're in line with your world-view? ///

It is what is called making a reasonable criticism, not being non critical just because a person or newspaper usually posts on one set agenda.

Normally this is alien to the 'Left' who will continue to go along the party line no matter what.

This is why I attacked the Mail, because usually they generally report the true facts and in this case it would appear that the two reporters Paul Bracchi And Tim Stewart had obviously taken the opportunity to *** off the EDL for what must have been their own political reasons.

I know that the EDL like any other organisation Left or Right isn't perfect, but this so called 'special report' was unbalanced and bias. Had the Daily Mail in the past had reported evenly against the 'Left' or against he actions of some of the Muslim community, I would not had said anything, but they haven't, so we are not batting on a level playing field.

Just read through that report and take a non bias view of it, and then ask yourself, is it a true and genuine report?

If the Mail are prepared to equally criticise Left-Wing organisations in the future, then I am prepared to withdraw my present criticism of them.

Didn't you think I knew I would leave myself wide open by my criticism of the Daily Mail, of course I did, but doesn't this prove that I will continue to fight for a level playing field and the removal of all unnecessary PC?

"He really is the most appallingly rude and despicable person on the site"

Incorrect Git, what is going on here is that I am one of the posters who challenges your right wing rants most frequently - often beyond the limits of your intelligence, and you can't handle it.

"Take no notice of Answerprancer's smiley 4846"

Yurrss, don't listen to the nasty man.

"...get you on his side, or in his gang".

Incorrect again, I operate alone ;-)

"..this evil person" ?? just because I don't let *you* get away with it that makes me "evil" - you don't even know me !

"183 questions but 4667 answers" ..um, I think that indicates my tendency is to provide answers/help rather than just asking lots of questions. I think you'll find a tiny minimum of those 4667 answers are Git-questioning.

Hey old chap - cheer up ! People like me are here to challenge you - I bear you no ill will.
Thanks for the clarification AOG - appreciated.

AoG - 4846? - How many alias do you have? Every time your attacked some "stranger" appears as if by magic, to support you.

Keep it up I really enjoy spotting them.
Are you certain that they are not genuine posters dave?
AOG

I found loads of reports, but by the time I came back to this thread, it had obviously become something of a slanging match.

You could see the number if stories yourself if you put a search into the DM site.

Of course they are genuine posters, don't take any notice of Davethedog, he just doesn't like anyone agreeing with me.

According to the sites rules one can only have one username.

Taken from the site's rules.

/// Do not abuse the AnswerBank’s registration procedures and attempt to acquire multiple usernames. ///
HaHa rock on 2 alias in one post
