what am i missing? do you mean the 4 comments at the bottom?
i agree it would be alarmist (as saiddin the article) to tell the specifics of each incident to children. so generally 'be extra vigilant' and 'travel in groups' should suffice. either that or the kids weren't listening to their teachers (which is quite likely).

Perhaps you might ask your daughter if she's been skipping assemblies
Based on experience of bringing up kids there is the tiny faint chance of them telling porkies!
