Have the police said if the pizza was of important yet? Was it at the flat of that guy with the massive combover?

The police are not going to issue any information they have that will jeopardise their chances of finding the person/people who did this. I stick by what I said. People are enjoying this as much as they enjoy a who done it or a video game!
Well we will agree to disagree about having some flippancy and light remarks around here. A lot of us would switch off AB if no humour was involved and. most evenings, there are some very good responses. I don't mind being slam-dunked by a good witticism and have been often. Probably will be now!
I agree about your video-game remark though. Even though the police have given up some evidence, there was appalling involvement, or rather intrusions, from the Press about what evidence they were looking at and then the speculation.
The scenario builds by folk here are dangerous, as described, as are also various ideas that get put forward - what if the murderer or muderess is looking in; they maight just get some ideas to further complicate or even cover over this case.

OK, I give in, but why discuss pizza toppings or whether you like pizza or not, etc.
I am glad DT agrees about my remarks about reality and video games and films etc. I quite honestly think that we see so much fictional violence that we have become immune to it when it is real. And I honestly believe that a lot of the violence is due to people getting hooked on the fictional variety.
And perhaps I have got the New Year Blues!! I am going to find my old Avatar!!
