Another isolated incident

we seem to have had a few of these isolated incidents in the manchester area, only just heard about this one on the local radio station

how many isolated incidents like this do you need before they make it a top priority to catch him/them

The report brought to mind the young girl, 'Milly', who was abducted some time ago. The police will be giving this a lot of attention.

last one i mentioned on here sara only found out about 2 weeks after it had happened

do you need to find a dead body in a lane before it gets on all the news channels
because by then it will be too late

on the friday morning when this happened the police should have got every film from all street cameras,shops, factories and houses in a 10 mile area

that car must be on a camera, everywhere you go in manchester there are cameras

might i suggest that just because the media are not running with a certain story the police are probably doing everything they would even if it was making front page news around the country - I wouldn't want things investigate according to how much attention the public are giving the issue anyway.

The offender is described as mixed race, about 6ft tall, medium build, in his 30s, with black braided hair, a pierced left ear with a stud in it, brown eyes, and was wearing a white t-shirt and dark blue jeans. He smelt strongly of aftershave.

The Dukinfield one did not specify a colour or vehicle. The Stalybridge one didn't specify colour but he had a white Transit van. In both incidents it was one man.

There have been other incidents:

I know Haghton Green is in Tameside, which is why I posted that the suspect was a black man and not 3 Asian men.

there never seems to be much in the press about these attempts, could the police want it that way

Why would the Police want it that way?

And I could probaly find a dozen newspaper reports in Greater Manchester, without trying too hard.
