So I read in today's paper that a Bill was placed before the Ugandan Parliament to introduce the death penalty for homosexuality.

In Britain, you have to find a different B&B.

In Uganda, they want to hang you.

Does this put our problems into any sort of perspective?

You think it's ruined their business?

Very unlikely....It'll be fully booked with homophobes now..!

Did you see the interview with them Doc?
I believe what was proven, doc.

NO-ONE has proven that the B&B was deliberately targetted. It may be convenient to suspect it was..........but NO evidence was offered in court, the couple have affirmed that it wasn't and Stonewall have stated that it wasn't.

You can choose to disbelieve 'the queers', if you like.............it doesn't make you correct.
Stop with the facts Jack...

Doc - for your information

HIV/Aids in sub saharan Africa is overwhelmingly a heterosexual disease spread from one heterosexual to another.

One shouldn't assume the american/western european model applies elsewhere.
.
"sub saharan Africa......a heterosexual disease" ?

That's a real shame - IF you live there, but I live in the UK, and all those years ago when it arrived on our shores it was "overwhelmingly" caused by the unnatural sex brigade, was it not? They were dropping like flies and it was all caused by their predeliction for deviant sex.

Besides, and before some smarty pants points it out, we all know that these far flung sub saharan heterosexual Africans could suddenly invade us and infect us? Not!

Let's look after our own for a change instead of worrying about people who have no business being anywhere near the UK. Let's assume that their own government are addressing such problems - we have enough of our own to worry about.
Uganda ranks 142 out of 152 countries for GDP - $1300 a head. Sort of puts our problems with road tax in perspective...

Is your post from 11:33 Tongue in cheek?
Like I've already said, doc.
It's clear that your unfounded beliefs lead you to side with the hoteliers whereas those of us who have studied the case a little more closely can see those baseless claims for what they are.

Good man!

When you say, "let's look afer our own, I assume you volunteer for Food Chain, or perhaps the Terrence Higgins Trust'.

Well done you...the should be more like you.
Well in the interview it was said that the owners admitted that their views were not made clear on the website. Neither were they made clear when the telephone booking was made. This was acknowledged in court....

The couple said had it been made clear to them on the website that it was ran by devout Christians then they would have looked elsewhere. It's not like they have never experienced something like this in their life and they respected the hotel owners rights to their beliefs.

Not privvy, doc, no..........
I just make it my business to find out relevant facts before I start spouting my opinion.

It's a shame more folks don't try it...............
enough with the facts, ok. stoppit.

Two gays on a Friday night in Kampala. "What are you doing this evening Mbuto?"

"I'm just hanging about."

Two gays in a Christian B and B. "What are you doing this evening, Brian."

"I thought we should engage in some bdsm hanging and shock the owners."
The 'statements' have been established to the satisfaction of the Law Courts so essentially they 'have' become facts, doc.

By all means believe what you like...............

I, at least, have benefit of knowing that what I believe is the truth.
