Are the Taliban now scraping the barrel when it sends 12 year olds to blow themselves and others up?
Should Pakistan now get tough with these terrorists when it was also only recently that a woman with a bomb strapped under her burqa killed 43 people at a United Nations food distribution point in Pakistan.
By killing their own countrymen, it destroys the myth (that some wish to believe) that they are not terrorists but freedom fighters.
Make no mistake about it these pieces of scum are out and out sadistic mass killers, and as such should be wiped from the surface of the earth at every opportune moment.

Who knows whether we would have turned out the same if brought up with different values. They don't value life as you or I do, and this applies to the children as well.
By the way, I am not defending them, I am as appalled as you are AOG.

it is disgusting, but as lottie says their views on life are different to ours, they truly believe that they are doing good and when they die they will be rewarded for what they've done, so they won't feel the remorse (if you can feel that before you've done something, but along those lines) that 'normal' people would.. guess it's present in all religions, and extremities that people are willing to go through to receive their 'reward'
Re: the Taliban - not being funny - but what do you expect? Fair fighting? Queensbury rules? They're a terrorist organisation, so they're not exactly going to 'play fair'.
You posit whether Pakistan should get tough with the Taliban...which presupposes that the Pakistan government are somehow turning a blind eye to these atrocities.
I don't know if that's true.

I was not being deliberately obtuse!!
I just thought squarebear's apparent praise (that of making a smart move) for the Taliban to be rather insensitive, taking into account their cowardly action of using a 12 year old boy to kill and maim many other innocent people.
Surely anyone with an ounce of humanity in them can see that?

/// I was putting myself in their shoes ///
Now surely that is not a 'smart' move, you are likely to get them blown off.
/// And indeed it was a smart move by them, as you can surely see? ///
No, I can't see anything being 'a smart move' where they are concerned, especially in using a boy of 12.
How can you possibly praise them?

Imagine you are in control of a group of the Taliban. You want to find the least suspicious way to send a device into a crowd. Then you would send a child. Therefore it would be a smart move on your behalf given your mindset!!
Where did squarebear indicate any praise of this, for goodness sake. You are getting worse!!
