.. has set back anti smoking progress by years. Selfish c0w. Why was she not prosecuted? Apparently smoking is growing among teenage girls and this brainless bimbo isn't helping. How can we reverse the trend and make youngsters aware what an unheathy, smelly disgusting habit smoking really is.
Let us know when you find out R1 then I can get my daughter to pack it in. And as for what Kate Moss did, she must be brain dead to think that was a smart, cool or clever thing to do. And why was she allowed to do it? Agree with B00 - she's a lost cause. Stupid cow indeed.
it's an unhealthy, smelly disgusting habit that earns the UK exchequer around £10bn every year (figures published by the tme, but using hmrc's own figures).
whereas, the treatment bills for smoking related illnesses costs the NHS around £2bn every year (figure from a freedom of information request to the health dept).
Good idea about the cig packs carrying her ghastly face.
Given the next story, they could also put the Duchess of Pork's face on condoms....after all she does seem to have an inflated opinion of her position in society - would be a timely reminder to her everytime she engages in 11th toe toe-sucking......
But then she probably thinks protection is something that the Boys in Blue should give her.
"has set back anti smoking progress by years"
Yeah, right, thousands of previously non-smoking fashionistas have all rushed out and bought packets of fags.
well done mushroom you get the BGB for bringing up the standard BS when smoking comes up. It Earns 7bn a year, cost 3bn on the NHS, indirect effects of smoking add another 17bn to the bill, so badge well earned
"indirect effects of smoking add another 17bn to the bill"
Unless you can link to a definitive source for this figure, I'd say you should award yourself the BS badge and bar.
Whether someone smokes or not is entilrey up to the individual. All you can do is present people with the facts and then let them make up their own mind. If it's too frowned upon kids will see it as a way of rebelling. Out of all my children only two smoke and only occasionally socially, wheras I smoked throughout their entire childhood. They don't smoke because they see it as not the way forward- so just present people with facts and if they have a brain they'll act on- if not then maybe they're candidates for the Darwin awards.
you're right nox, people will do what they want so you just have to educate them - however the world is full of ignorant and stupid people - such as the family mentioned that had a smoking 3 yr old because it was funny!!
some people will never have the brains to be allowed to make their own choices.
if smoking only harmed the smoker - id say fill yer boots and leave them to it - but it doesnt it harms others who have a right not to be harmed
I find it is a popular passtime to" Bash the Smoker" I am an ex smoker, this was my choice and there is no way I would have bowed to pressure, it is up to the indervidual whether thay want to smoke or not imo, I am on record as saying it's a filthy habit but that was my filthy habit.
Bobbi I agree I am a Non smoking smoker, your right its a horrible habit and i'm glad I gave up, but nobody here would have been any wiser to Kate Moss's smoking habits if it wasn't for that article.
