Thanks for all your resonses, it's brightened my day. The Glasgow hills referred to are drumlins, a product of glaciation, and I hate every one of them but Glasgow belongs to me (no jist when ah get a cuppla drinks oan a setterday) - HarryW

At least you have the decency to put handrails on some of the steeper streets.......I was crying out for a sled and a team of huskies on my second day there.............why are all the interesting things at the top of hills? :o(

jth - the haunrails ur fur helpin drunks hame and today marks the opening of the Riverside Museum on the Clyde, you can't see a hill anywhere! Next time you and the missus are up here make sure you give it a visit - HarryW
