chicken of the sea.


a man bought 2 fish, when he reached home he had 3... why?

he had 2 and one smelt.


ermmm... any ideas? these were actually in a joke book!

I think a smelt is a fish - first one, don't know.

it's not very funny but he bought 2 fish and one of them smelled, so it could be said that he had 3 fish, with the "smelt".

Kind of like:
a man bought 2 indetical apples but when he got home he had 3 pieces of fruit...why?
He had 2 apples and a pear(pair).

It's a play on words but it isn't very funny.
