Price of sweets

Gave the grandkids 50p each to buy some sweets and they laughed and said it wasn't enough. I said that I used to go out with 50p in my pocket and get 2 mars bars, 2 kit kats 2 rolls of polo mints and some chewing gum.
They bet me I couldn't do it now, and you know what, they were right.
