"How does he do it?"
OK. First make a video of a guy runing and include a bit where he stands with his arms swinging.
Make a video of him leaping up at that spot.
Make a second video of him leaping and running towards you carrying polystyrene a mockup of a cursor. You only need the bit commencing from the top of hi leap.
Now use flash scripting tool to build a simple app that shows the first part of the video, goes into a loop when it gets to the swinging arms and waits 'til it senses the cursor at the correct position. Now show the leaping up video, (and play noise) immediately followed by the coming down and running with cursor mockup.
Your'e right Roger - in fact if you right-click and pause the video at the correct moment, the arm will carry on moving on its own.
That said, the process is still essentially as I described.
You are running a flash app in your web browser. Almost all apps have the ability to turn the cursor on and off (or change it). If you quickly move your mouse off the app, your cursor will re-appear. What's more if you go into your mouse settings and change the appearance of the cursor, you'll find that moving over this app, it will change back to a standard cursor.
