Shawshank Redemption, Green Mile, Platoon and then after sobbing over the 1st two and being horrified over number 3, i'd watch The Money Pit for the one film guaranteed to have me snorting with laughter from start to finish.

I'd also like an industrial sized bucket of popcorn to go with them all too.

Boo, love three of those but never seen Green Mile, definitely a jumbo popcorn bucket please and some maltesers :)

My four would be Amadeus, Night at the Opera, The Blues Brothers and Raise the Red Lantern.

No i couldnt, i get the itches halfway through one!

Oh you got to watch Green Mile- I was openly sobbing into the tea towel (not posh enough to have tissues in my house!)

Not seen Night of the opera or Red Lantern. Only seen Blues Brothers once...as a kid, and I seem to recall I wasn't all that struck with it- mind you thats probably more an age thing, bet I'd love it now.

Again Amadeus, only seen once...and the only memorable thing I can remember from it is that Falco sang the theme tune from it....I'm a philistine...sorry :(

What sort of itches, chazza?

itches???? I'd get that seen to if I was you chazza ;)

i think i could manage as long as i was allowed toilet breaks.i could hack dirty dancing, pulp fiction, saturday night fever and staying alive.

i just get twitchy and cant sit still!  Some friends of mine went to see all 3 LOTR films together in one sitting, I just couldnt do that!
Ok with toilet breaks, coffee breaks, plenty of food and drink  The Life of Brian, Its a Wonderful Life, then a Doris Day film - the one where she is stranded on a desert island and comes back and her husband James Garner I think is married to someone else and then Being There with Peter Sellers.
Leon, Goodfellas, Layer Cake, Basic Instinct.

The Grapes Of Wrath

The Colour Purple

Green Mile

& Rebecca

and a big box of tissues!!!!

Momento, Groundhog Day, Man on Fire and then Fight Club. Anyone fancy joining me?

Sexy Beast.- Rita, Sue and Bob Too-

National lampoons Vacation.- Disclosure.

Oceans 11, Mission: Impossible, The 51st State & Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith
Mine would be Godfather 1 and 2, Gone with the Wind for a good cry and to finish up on a good laugh The In-Laws

happy gilmore , return of the jedi, twelve monkeys , battle royale.

in no particular order

In order mine would be:

Gone with the Wind

Happy Gilmore

A Few Good Men

Sexy Beast

i think i could do it (the most I have ever done is 2 in a row, but i was itching for more). I couldn't decide which they'd be but i am quite patient with films so it could be pretty much anything as long as it wasn't completly dire!
I'm with you on this one chazza, I can hardly sit through one film, let alone four! Usually can't stand films any longer than 2 hours, which is why things like Lord Of The Rings just don't appeal to me at all!  Have to admit though, The Green Mile was worth sitting through!

..today my list is as follows, tomorrow it will probably have changed...

..enemy at the gate....

..shallow grave...

...leon...

...trainspotting...
