I'd Like An Honest Opinion Of This.

I gave up after the second paragraph, purely because Mickey doesn't have a clue about GSW injuries and their devastating effects.

Chilldoubt, I don't claim to be an expert on GSW and so, by default, neither is Mickey. But I did once come across the body of a man who'd just been shot in the face with a small calibre pistol. The only visible wound was a mark like a mole on his cheek below the eye. I'm guessing here, but if a bullet sliced across someones face would there not be a fair amount of blood? Is what I wrote so inaccurate?

sandy,you write completely authentically situation wise. all the language and phrasing and sense of the moment personally. You were there.! Personally,as someone else who lived through those times,I choose not to read or watch dramas about them any more. I just want to move on. Your writing is good though,very conversational:-)
